Sharon Teberg

Sharon Teberg, 75, of Menomonie, WI, formerly of Moorhead, MN, died Monday. May 16, 2016, in Our House Assisted Living, Menomonie, under the care of Hospice.

Sharon Estelle Skunberg was born September 19, 1940, the daughter of Clifford and Alice (Nelson) Skunberg in Pelican Rapids, MN. She was raised there and graduated from Pelican Rapids High School in 1958. On June 27, 1959, she was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Teberg, in Pelican Rapids. While Dick served in the military they lived in Georgia and then Germany, before returning to Moorhead.

They established their home in Moorhead where Sharon began working at the Clay County Auditor's Office in 1972. Dick died on November 12, 1998. Sharon retired in 2002 and continued to live in Moorhead until moving to Menomonie, WI, in November of 2014.

Sharon was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Moorhead. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, working in her flower gardens and spending time at the lake.

She is survived by her children, Teresa Lynn (Don) Mabb, Menomonie, and Scott (Sherry) Teberg, Pelican Rapids; son-in-law, Boyd Johnson, Oskaloosa, IA; grandchildren, Jarrod, Brandon (Lisa Hansen), and Alyssa Mabb, and Alex and Aaron Johnson; sister, Darlene (Jim) Moore, Fargo, ND; brother, Wesley (Joann) Skunberg; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; daughter, Tracy Johnson; and brothers, Wally Skunberg and Loren Skundberg.

The family would like to thank the staff at Mayo Clinic Hospice and the staff at Our House for the loving care they gave to Sharon.

A visitation for Sharon will be Thursday from 5 - 7 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.

Her funeral will be Friday, May 20, 2016, at 11 AM, in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Moorhead.

Burial will be in Bagstevold Lutheran Cemetery, Erhard, MN.
