Sister Carmen C. Rodriguez, 80, Moorhead, MN, died Wednesday, May 31, 2006, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.
Carmen C. Rodriguez was born in Madrid, Spain, on May 8, 1926, to Francisco and Teresa (Crespo) Rodriguez. She came to the United States in 1956 when the Missionary Sisters of Jesus was founded in Corpus Christi, TX.
She later moved to Brownsville, TX, and then to Minnesota where she worked for the Crookston Diocese of the Catholic Church assisting migrant farm workers. She moved to Moorhead in 1982.
She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Toribio, Moorhead; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Francisco, Madrid.
Visitation: one hour before the funeral at the church.
Funeral Mass: Monday, June 5, 2006, at 11 AM, in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead.
Burial: St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead
