Sophia Grey-Lydia Perrine, Fargo, 27 day old infant daughter of Scott Perrine and Lacey Canaday, died on Monday, November 19, 2007, in the Minneapolis Children's Hospital.
Sophia Grey-Lydia Perrine was an Angel sent to earth to touch the lives of many. In her 27 days earthbound, she was a symbol of hope for everyone that heard of her fight for life. Her life showed the two families brought together by a tragedy how kind even strangers can be. Even after her time on earth was finished, she was able to give life to two sick babies. She will forever be remembered as God's smallest hero. As an Angel in heaven, she will keep watch over her family that loved her so dear.
She is survived by her parents, Scott Perrine, Rochert, MN, and Lacey Canaday, Fargo, ND; sisters, Jillian Canaday, Fargo, and Isabella Perrine, Detroit Lakes, MN; grandparents, Wayne (Coreen) Pike, Fargo; Jeffery (Kat) Perrine, Rochert, and Sue (Mike) Jones, Perham, MN; and great-grandparents, Inell Pike, Jasper, AL, Christa (Tommy) McCarthy, Largo, FL, Nathen and Florence Perrine, Frazee, MN, and Carrie Delaney, Perham.
