Stanley Haggart, age 55, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, April 7, 2012, in his home in Lisbon, ND.
Stanley Malcolm Haggart, the son of Donald and Lenore (Stitz) Haggart, was born in Fargo, ND, on June 27, 1956. He grew up and received his education in Fargo, where he attended Oak Grove Lutheran High School, and graduated from Fargo South High School. He received his bachelor's degree in education from Minnesota State University, Moorhead. He later received his master's degree in counseling from NDSU, Fargo. Stan taught and served as a school counselor in a number of North Dakota communities including Ashley, Wahpeton, Lisbon, and later in Garrison.
Stan is survived by a sister, Laura Kay (Stephen) Steckler; two grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews; and many dear friends, whose hearts he touched and he considered his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Christi Stolz.
Visitation: One hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday. Funeral: Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 11 AM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
