Stephanie Jo Hendrickson

Stephanie Jo (Cruz) Hendrickson, daughter of Joseph and Janice (Hunemuller) Cruz, was born November 25, 1961, in Fargo, ND.

Stephanie had three children during her marriage to Stephen Hendrickson, and raised them in Sioux Falls, SD, and later Fargo. She enjoyed her time as a Quality Control Scientist at a local biotechnology company.

Stephanie passed away, surrounded by loved ones, Saturday, February 28, 2015, at a hospital, in Fargo.

Her many hobbies included collecting Swarovski crystals, selecting then refinishing antique furniture, and listening to her favorite music while cleaning. Stephanie loved fishing which she passed on to her children. She also enjoyed jogging in the evening and viewing the northern lights in the early morning. Steph adored (and spoiled) her three grandchildren, Mileena, Samara, and Cylas. She was very close with her niece Camri, who had a special place in her heart.

Stephanie is survived by two sons, Craig Hendrickson, Fargo, and Neil Hendrickson, Mammoth, PA; one daughter, Miryssa Hendrickson, Fargo; three grandchildren, Mileena Hendrickson, Samara Hendrickson, and Cylas Hare; four siblings, Timothy (Rose) Cruz, Morgan Hill, CA, Roberta Cruz, Dawn (Paul) Schares, and Carlotta (Rick) Bruns, of Fargo; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Janice Cruz; and her beloved cat, Tippy Socks (The Baby).

Visitation will begin at 6 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life service at 7 PM, Friday, March 6, 2015, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
