Stephanie A. Keckhafer, 36, Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, January 14, 2004, in her home.
Stephanie Ann Keckhafer was born October 27, 1967, on the Rosebud Indian Reservation, South Dakota. She was adopted by Mary Keckhafer at nine years of age and the two made their home in Fargo, where Stephanie grew up and graduated from Fargo South High School in 1989.
Stephanie was presented the Outstanding Entrepreneur Award in 2002 by the Metro Area Mayor's Committee for People with Disabilities for her popcorn business. Stephanie packed a lot of life and activity into her young life. She and Mary traveled extensively throughout the world. Stephanie was an actively involved member of Friendship United Methodist Church, Fargo, where she was loved by all. She made a lasting impression on all who crossed her path and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Stephanie is survived by her mother, Mary, Fargo; her grandmother, Olga Keckhafer, Fergus Falls, MN; and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edwin Keckhafer and one aunt.
