Steven Rendon

Steven Alan Rendon was born October 17, 1987, in Fargo, ND, to Alex and Alice (Flores) Rendon. Steven was raised in Moorhead, MN, where he graduated from high school. He attended Rasmussen College, Moorhead, for business management.

As a young man, Steven worked at the Moorhead Salvation Army Thrift Store. He later worked for Bruce Offutt on his farm, and then entered the construction field, working for a number of businesses, including Cross Insulation, Fargo.

Steven was very athletic and also very competitive in all sports. Family, however, was his top priority.

Steven died suddenly Sunday, April 3, 2016, in Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN, at twenty-eight years of age.

Steven is survived by his fiancée, Megan Ochoa, Moorhead; three children, Brayden Polka, Fargo, Jaydah Rendon, and Jaxson Rendon, both Moorhead; his parents, Alex and Alice Rendon, Moorhead; four siblings, Belinda (Geovanni) Chacon, Alex Rendon III (Hannah Soland), Fargo, Michael Rendon (Karen Knutson), and Brandon Rendon (Emily Dobbs), both Moorhead; and fourteen nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Steven will be Sunday, April 10, 2016, from 5 - 7 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM, in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Moorhead.

The funeral mass will be Monday, April 11, 2016, at 10 AM, in the church.

Burial will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Moorhead.
