Steven Dennis Swaser was born December 24, 1946, in Minneapolis, MN, to Alois and Verna (Lennartson) Swaser.
Steven was an Eagle Scout and served in the US Army. He married Karen on October 2, 1977, in Sioux Falls, SD. They made their home in Moorhead. Steven was a safety consultant for the O.E.C.S. of the Dakotas.
Steven was an active member of Bethel Evangelical Free Church in Fargo, ND. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and model trains.
Steven died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Sanford Health, Fargo, at sixty-four years of age.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Tammy, Bret, Jeff, Brian, and Lori; six grandchildren; a brother, Jerry; and a sister, Mariann.
Steven has donated his body to the UND School of Medicine.
A memorial service for Steven will be Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 1:00 PM, in Bethel Evangelical Free Church, Fargo.
