Sue Ann Holland, 77, Blaine, MN, formerly of Halstad, MN and Fargo, ND, died Sunday, March 15, 2015, in Comfort First in Blaine.
Sue Ann Carnegie, the daughter of Raymond and Geraldine (Richards) Carnegie, was born June 9, 1937, in Stephen, MN. She graduated from Stephen High School in 1955.
On Dec. 10, 1955, she married Ames Holland in Stephen. They made their home in Halstad, where Sue was primarily a homemaker busy with her four children, but enjoyed driving her beet truck each fall. She fulfilled a life-long dream of obtaining her cosmetology license in 1980. She worked at Hair Success and Hair It Is in Ada, MN. She and Ames moved to Fargo, ND, in 1997.
Sue is survived by her four children, LeeAnn Rude, Blaine, Kelly (Tim) Stiller, Concord, CA, Wendy (Dave) Olson, Omaha, NE, and Jonathon (Brandon Amundson) Holland, Northfield, MN; a sister, Geraldine (Larry) Ortler; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Timothy, a grandson, Daniel, parents, her brother and four sisters.
A Visitation for Sue will be Tuesday from 5 PM until 7 PM in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Her Funeral Service will be Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at 11 AM in Halstad Lutheran Church.
Burial will take place in North Halstad Lutheran Cemetery.
