Sylvia T. Stulz, 92, of Farmington, MN, formerly of Moorhead, MN, died Monday, January 14, 2013, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN.
Sylvia T. Osmundson was born November 7, 1920, on the family farm near Averill, MN, the daughter of Halvor and Anolda (Amundson) Osmundson. She was raised and attended school in Averill. Upon graduating from high school she attended Moorhead State College in Moorhead where she received her teaching degree. She then taught in a one room school house.
On September 9, 1944, she was united in marriage to Gordon Stulz in Averill. They made their home in Moorhead before moving to Brooklyn Park, Minnesota in 1963, where they lived until 1978 when they moved to Fremont, NE. Mr. Stulz died in 2003. In 2005, Sylvia moved back to Moorhead.
Sylvia enjoyed reading, playing cards, painting and photography. While living in Nebraska she was very active in her church.
She is survived by her sons, Rick (Julie) Stulz, Timothy (Mary) Stulz and Roger Stulz; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 59 years, Gordon; son, David; and brother, Omar Osmundson.
Visitation: One hour prior to funeral, at Korsmo Funeral Chapel.
