T. Loraine Holmberg

T. Loraine Flagstad, the daughter of Olaf and Onnie (Kvalheim) Flagstad, was born January 9, 1915, in Duluth, MN. Her father, a Lutheran minister, moved with his family to Newman Grove, NE, and later to Hillsboro, ND, where Loraine graduated from high school. She subsequently moved to Fargo, ND, where she worked until her marriage to M. K. Holmberg on April 25, 1948.
Following their marriage, they lived in Moorhead, MN. In 1988, they moved to rural Detroit Lakes, MN. In 2003, they moved to Fargo.
Loraine died on Saturday, June 30, 2007 in Bethany Homes in Fargo, at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Jeanette Gjesdahl and Dagny Kaldor; and a brother, Norman Flagstad.
She is survived by her husband, Kent, Fargo; two sons, Kent (Cheryl) Holmberg, Hillsboro, and Bruce (Sandi) Holmberg, Detroit Lakes; two grandsons, Scott (Kimberly) Holmberg, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Brian Holmberg, Roseville, MN; and two great-grandchildren, Erin and Adam.
Memorial service: Thursday, July 5, 2007, at 2 PM,
Mavis Whiting Chapel, Bethany Homes, Fargo.
