Tamara A. Meyer Matson

Tamara A. Meyer Matson, 57, of Moorhead, MN, died on Sunday, September 24, 2017, in her home.

Tamara Ann Meyer was born March 11, 1960, the daughter of Arnold and Gloria (Schutz) Meyer, in Moorhead. She was raised in Moorhead where she attended school. On June 19, 1981, she was united in marriage to Russell Matson. They established their home in Moorhead where Tamara was a stay at home mom.

She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead.

Tamara enjoyed sun tanning, riding in her red convertible, listening to music, doing Macramé, and dressing up her children when they were young.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Matson and Kira Matson, West Fargo, ND, and Chelsie Matson, Blaine, MN; grandchildren, Trinity, Leah and Mason Locklear; brother, Doug Meyer, Fargo, ND; sisters, Pam Meyer, Fargo, and Jodi (Blair) Anderson, Moorhead; niece, Emma Anderson, Moorhead; and former husband, Russell Matson, St. Cloud, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Cassidy; brother, Roger Meyer; and sister, Sandra Meyer.

A Gathering of Friends for Tamara will be one hour prior to her memorial service.

Her Memorial Service will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017, at 2:00 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead, MN.

Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Moorhead.
