Terri Ann Sauvageau

February 2, 1954 — July 25, 2009

Terri Ann Engelking was born on February 2, 1954, in Fargo, ND, to Roy and Bonnie (Miller) Engelking. She grew up in Moorhead, MN, with her three brothers and two sisters and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1972. She married Tim Sauvageau of Fargo, on May 12, 1972, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Fargo, and moved to Barnesville, MN, in 1979.
In Terri's earlier years, she enjoyed playing softball and participated in a national women's softball tournament with her team from Barnesville. Throughout the years, she was employed at the Good Samaritan Center, the Eagle Café, and Super Valu, all in Barnesville. She had a strong love for her dogs, Mr. Jiggles and Pebbles, as she often referred to them as her "life-line".
Terri Ann passed away in her home on Saturday, July 25, 2009, at fifty-five years of age.
Terri is survived by her husband, Tim, Barnesville; sons, Jasen Sauvageau, Moorhead, and Todd (Sarah) Sauvageau, Portland, OR; a daughter, Monique Sauvageau, Fargo; her parents, Roy and Bonnie Engelking, Moorhead; two brothers, Mike (Julie) Engelking, Moorhead, and Steve Engelking, Fargo; two sisters, Debbie Barnett, Fargo, and Joey Engelking, Horace, ND.
Terri was preceded in death by her father-in-law Patrick Sauvageau; mother-in-law Gloria (Panchott) Sauvageau; brother, Dan Engelking; nephew, Charlie Luptak; and her dog, Chico.
She will be dearly missed by her family and friends as she finds peace with God.
Visitation for Terri Ann will be Friday, July 31, 2009, from 1 - 2 PM, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Fargo.
Her funeral will be Friday at 2 PM, in the church.
Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo.
