Theo Francis Dawson was born June 2, 1925, in Moorhead, MN, to Ralph and Gladys (Harson) Dawson. The family eventually moved to Dilworth, MN, where Theo graduated from high school.
After high school, Theo moved to Minneapolis, MN, where she graduated from North Central Bible College. Theo worked in the corporate office of C.H. Carpenter Lumber Company, Minneapolis, as a bookkeeper for fifty years.
After her retirement, Theo moved to Moorhead to be closer to family. She loved animals, reading, listening to music, and gardening.
Theo died on Monday, October 24, 2011, at Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, at the age of eighty-six.
She is survived by her siblings, R. Donald (Theresa) Dawson, Moorhead, Gladys (Gordon) Black, John Day, OR, Curtis (Shirley) Dawson, Lynnwood, WA, Shirley (Grant) Mohr, Moorhead, Gary (Sharon) Dawson, Moorhead, and Muriel Olson, Dilworth; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Floyd, Alfred and Owen.
