Theodore "Ted" K. Ingersoll Jr.

Theodore K. “Ted” Ingersoll Jr., 85, of Fargo, ND, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023, in Bethany on University, Fargo.

Theodore Kit Ingersoll was born February 10, 1937, the son of Theodore and Ruth (Donovan) Ingersoll, Sr., in Moorhead, MN.  He was raised in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1955.  Ted then served in the U.S. Army and returned to Moorhead. 

On August 31, 1962, he was united in marriage to Beverly J. Miller in Sisseton, SD.  They made their home in Moorhead where they raised their family.  In 1964, Ted began working for the U.S. Post Office in Moorhead, as a Postal Carrier, retiring in 1999.  In 2000, he began working part-time at Berg Auto Supply in Fargo until 2018.  He then moved to One Oak Place in Fargo until moving to assisted living at the Gables in Bethany on 42^nd. 

Ted enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, cooking, and playing cards.  He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Vicki (Chuck) Breneman, Walker, MN, Julie (Mark) Grossman, West Fargo, ND, and Ted (Andrea) Ingersoll III, Fargo, and Tim (Michelle) Ingersoll, Kiowa, CO; ten grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; brother, Steven (Renae) Ingersoll, Moorhead; and sister, Bonnie Mae Enger, Oregon.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Beverly; and daughter, Debbie Stockert;

A Graveside Service for Theodore “Ted” and Beverly Ingersoll will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at Fargo National Cemetery, Harwood, ND.
