Thomas D. Conner, 63, Moorhead, MN died Thursday, August 19, 2010, at his lake cabin in Dent, MN.
Thomas "Tom" David Conner was born in Fargo, ND, where he was raised. Tom enlisted in the US Army and served three tours in Vietnam before being honorably discharged in November of 1969.
On January 24, 1970, Tom married Janelle Saarinen in Moorhead and they made their home in Fargo eventually moving to Dilworth, MN. Tom worked for Silverline, Fargo Foundry, and retired from Branick Manufacturing this past June.
Tom was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and gardening. He was also a woodworker. He was deeply devoted to his family, especially his grandchildren.
Tom is survived by his wife, Janelle, Moorhead; a son, Shawn (Lori) Conner, West Fargo, ND; a daughter, Tammy Husarik, Rogers, MN; three grandchildren, Kaylee, Taylor and Ashley; and three brothers, Ronald (Jeanene) Conner, Denis (Twylla) Conner, and Bryon (Muffy) Conner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, "Holly" and Jeanette.
Visitation: Sunday from 5 - 7 PM at Korsmo Funeral Service, Moorhead.
Funeral: Monday, August 23, 2010 at 11 AM at Korsmo Funeral Service.
Burial: Springvale Cemetery, Fargo.
