Thomas J. Green

Thomas J. Green was born April 29, 1954, in Moorhead, MN, to Minor William “Bill” Green and Delores (Belsly) Green. He was raised in Moorhead and graduated from Moorhead Senior High and then graduated from Moorhead Tech in computer programming. 

Thomas did computer services in the banking field and a local hospital. He also worked for a company doing wiring for hotels.  His last job, prior to retirement, was working for Medicare.

Over the years he liked to golf, target shoot and going to car races.  He enjoyed taking friends and family out to eat and going to concerts.  His passion was cooking and baking for friends and family and the local firemen in Moorhead.

He was an active member at Bethesda Lutheran Church and enjoyed going to church often.

Thomas passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024, in his Moorhead home, at sixty-nine years of age.

Thomas is survived by his siblings, Linda Stulz, Moorhead, Susan (Jonathon) Hinz, Colfax, ND, and Scott (Bonnie) Green, Fargo, ND; uncle, John Robert “Bob” Belsly, Moorhead; niece, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and an aunt, Dorothy Belsly.

In remembrance of Thomas’s life, visitation will be Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 5 – 7 PM, with a prayer service at 6:30 PM, at Korsmo Funeral and Cremation Service, Moorhead.

His funeral will be held at Bethesda Lutheran Church, Moorhead, Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at 2 PM.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery in Moorhead, MN.
