Todd M. Oanes

Todd Michael Oanes was born October 14, 1964, in Fargo, ND, to Martin and Jackie (Smutzler) Oanes. Todd was raised in Moorhead, MN, where he graduated from high school in 1983. He attended Moorhead State University where he played football.

Todd married Nancy Bruns and they made their home in Moorhead. He worked many years for Aggregate Industries, Moorhead, and later for Trinity Logistics, Fargo. Todd retired due to health issues. He was an avid sports fan and followed sports of all kinds.

Todd passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2016, in Sanford Health Palliative Care Unit, Fargo, at fifty-one years of age.

Todd is survived by his son, Andrew (Tiffany) Oanes; daughter, Nicole Oanes; grandson, Owen Oanes; father, Martin (Karen) Oanes; brother, Troy (Ann) Oanes; and three nieces, Kari, Amanda, and Grete Oanes, all of Moorhead.

There will be a Gathering of Friends Friday, August 19, 2016, from 5 - 7 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. A Life Celebration service will be Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 10 AM, in The Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead. Burial will take place in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Moorhead.
