In 1979, they moved to the Hawley area where they made their home and raised their family. Victor was a godly man who served the Lord with all his heart. He was characterized as a man of prayer and prayed for his family every day. He was also extremely involved with his church as a deacon and loved music, especially the Gaithers and organ music.
