Viola 'Snookie' Langseth, 62, Glyndon, died Thursday, February 9, 2012, in Essentia Health, Fargo.
Visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2012, from 6 - 7 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM, in Maranatha Free Lutheran Church, Glyndon.
Her funeral will be Saturday, February 11, 2012, at 2:30 PM, in the church.
Viola Raye Baron was born March 1, 1949, in Sidney, MT, to Raymond and Violet (Wahl) Baron. The family moved to the Fargo-Moorhead area when she was very young. She graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1967.
Snookie married (Albert) Duane Langseth on December 28, 1985, in West Fargo, ND, and they made their home in Glyndon, MN.
Snookie worked for Silverline, Moorhead. She later worked in the admitting department of St. Luke's Hospital, Fargo, and then for Dr. Robert Schulte, Fargo.
Snookie was a member of Maranatha Free Lutheran Church, Glyndon. She enjoyed having fun at their lake home near Hawley, MN and spending time with family and friends.
Snookie is survived by a sister, Helen (Don) Biesterfeld, Fargo; mother-in-law, Jean Langseth, Glyndon; sister-in-law, Pam Williams, Fargo; stepson, Ray (Laurie) Langseth, Fargo; and stepdaughter, Tracy Stueve, Manassas, VA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Violet Baron, and her loving husband, Duane, who passed away September 24, 2011.
