Violet "Sam" Baron, 77, Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005, at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, where for years she was a wonderful example of strength, courage, and faith in the Lord.
Violet was born to John and Christina (Hausauer) Wahl, June 16, 1928, in Lincoln Valley, ND, where she grew up and attended school. On August 12, 1947, she married Raymond Baron. They made their home in Fargo. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends, and also being a member of Maranatha Free Lutheran Church, Glyndon, MN.
She will be deeply missed by her two daughters, Snookie (Duane) Langseth, Glyndon, MN, and Helen (Donald) Biesterfeld, Fargo; two grandchildren, Bradley (Charissa) Biesterfeld and Christina Biesterfeld; one great-grandson, Ashton Biesterfeld; two brothers, Jerry (Donna) Wahl, Dickinson, ND, and Robert (Deanna) Wahl, Bismarck, ND; four sisters, Adeline (Melvin) Almer, West Fargo, ND, Betty Wagner, Bismarck, Shirley (Elmer) Zimmerman, Powell, WY, and Beverly (Eugene) Amlesberg, Bismarck.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, and one sister.
Visitation: Sunday from 4 PM to 8 PM, with a prayer service at 7 PM,
