Wanda L. Kreps

Wanda L. Wendt was born March 21, 1926, in Fargo, ND, to Charles and Clara (Hanson) Wendt. Wanda was raised in Fargo where she graduated from Central High School in 1944. During high school, and after graduation, Wanda worked for Welu Dental Laboratory in Fargo.
Wanda was united in marriage to John Kreps on May 27, 1949, in Moorhead, where they made their home. As their family grew, Wanda devoted herself to raising and caring for their children.
Wanda and John moved to Fergus Falls, MN, where she worked with children with disabilities. She worked at the State Hospital and later Lake Region Hospital. They returned to Moorhead in 1986 and very recently moved to West Fargo, ND.
Wanda died suddenly on Sunday, June 28, 2009, in Innovis Health, Fargo, at eighty-three years of age.
Wanda is survived by her husband of over sixty years, John, West Fargo; two sons, J.E. (Janice) Kreps Jr., Moorhead, and Keith Kreps, Fargo; one daughter, Nancy (Charles) Hakanson, West Fargo; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Gene Wendt, Maryland; and three sisters, Dolly Ann Gravalin and Phyllis Norgon, both Fargo, and Virginia Wendt, Minneapolis, MN.
Visitation for Wanda will be Wednesday, July 1, 2009, from 5 - 7 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Her funeral will be Thursday, July 2, 2009, at 2 PM, in Trinity Lutheran Church, Moorhead.
Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Fargo.
