Wendell Hogenson, age 77, rural Lake Park, MN, died at his home on Cormorant Lake on Nov. 14, 2008.
Wendell, son of Clayton and Ella Hogenson, was born Aug. 31, 1931, at Twin Valley, MN, where he grew up and received his education. He served in the US Air Force from 1950 to 1954.
On Sept. 3, 1955, Wendell married Ruby Matson. They lived in Moorhead, and Wendell worked at Central Live Stock in West Fargo, ND, until he retired in 1995. After retirement, Wendell and Ruby moved to their lake home to live.
Wendell is survived by his wife, Ruby; three children, Wes, Shelly Johanson and Wayne (Jada); two sisters, Beverly Bill and Gloriann Johnson; five grandchildren, Alex, Ashley, Chelsey, Coty and Cole; 3 step-grandchildren, Miranda, Marie, and Patrick; and one great-grandson, Aiden.
Visitation: Tuesday, 5 PM to 7:30 PM, in Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.
Funeral: Wednesday (Nov. 19, 2008) at 10: 30 AM in Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Moorhead.
