William "Bill" Eagle

William "Bill" Eagle, age 71, Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, in MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND.
William Barlow Eagle, the son of Clifford and Wilma (Barlow) Eagle, was born July 22, 1938, in Fargo, ND. He grew up and attended school in Moorhead, graduating from Moorhead High School and Moorhead Area Community and Technical College. He worked as a custodian at Moorhead High School.
While in high school, Bill served as manager of the football team and received the honor of "All-Conference Manager". He was known for his cheery attitude. Throughout his life he avidly followed Moorhead "Spud" athletics. Bill had been a resident of Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, for the past few years.
Bill is survived by his sister, Nancy Loy, Moorhead; a nephew, Jon (Melanie) Loy, Worthington, MN; two great-nephews and a great-niece.
Memorial service: Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at 2 PM, in Bottolfson Chapel, Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead.
Inurnment: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
