William "Bill" Elliot Sodnak was born August 8, 1956, in Greenbush, MN, to John and Betty (Aamodt) Sodnak. In 1956, the family moved to Moorhead, MN, where Bill attended school. He graduated from Moorhead High School and attended North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND, for a short time.
In December of 1974, Bill began working at Duane's House of Pizza where he was currently a manager.
Bill died on Monday, January 23, 2012, at Sanford Health, Fargo. He was fifty-five years old.
Bill enjoyed attending Minnesota Twins and Timberwolves games. He was an avid reader and liked to spend time on his computer. Bill also liked to garden and recycling was very important to him.
He is survived by his parents, John and Betty Sodnak, Moorhead; a brother, Jack (Janet) Sodnak, Moorhead; a nephew, Logan Sodnak, Moorhead; his aunt and uncle, Janice (Myles) Olson, Thief River Falls, MN; and cousins, Erick and Sara Olson.
Visitation: One hour prior to the Memorial Service
Memorial Service: Thursday, January 26, 2012, at 10:30 AM, Lutheran Church of Christ the King, Moorhead.
Inurnment: Riverside Cemetery, Moorhead.
