Yvonne Stanoscheck

Yvonne Stanosheck, of Moorhead, MN, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2005, at the age of 90, at The Evergreens Assisted Living Facility in Moorhead. She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Robert L. "RL" Stanosheck, and her loving sister, Lorraine Shupe, Mesa, AZ.


Yvonne was born January 16, 1915, in Broadland, SD to the late Frank and Clara Kurtz.. Yvonne was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and later had a successful career in real estate before retiring to Mesa, AZ, for the past 25 years, where she met and cherished many friends. She was a long time member of Central Christian Church, Mesa, where she was grounded in her Christian faith and participated in many church activities. An active member of her community in Mesa, she was a prime organizer of trips to many places in Arizona for the residents. She loved shopping, reading the Bible, going on trips, and being with friends at small gatherings.


Yvonne is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Shirley Sultany (Dennis) of Bloomington, MN, and Cheryl Stanosheck Youngs (George) of Moorhead; grandchildren, Shawn Kranz and Shireen Walsh (Greg); and great-grandchildren, Jesse Kranz, Garrett Walsh and Grant Walsh.


Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.


Visitation: One hour prior to the funeral in
Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.


Funeral service: Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2005, at 2 PM,
Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead.


A private interment will be in Huron, SD, where she will be with her Lord and Savior, and devoted husband, forever.
