Zachary J. Cole, age 23, Bozeman, MT, formerly of Moorhead, MN, died in an auto accident near Bozeman on Sunday.
Zachary, the son of Jerome and Deborah (Olson) Cole was born in Fargo, ND, on August 14, 1988. Zach was baptized on Oct. 9, 1988, and he confirmed his faith on April 25, 2004. Zach grew up in Moorhead, where he received his education. He graduated from Moorhead High in 2007. Zach loved sports and played football for the Moorhead Spuds. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, and especially downhill skiing. As a young man, Zach worked at Corwin Auto in Fargo, and at Snap Dragon in Moorhead.
In the fall of 2007, Zach moved to Bozeman, MT, to live, work and ski. He did landscaping, worked in a Honda dealership, at Applebee's, and at Moonlight Basin Ski Resort.
Zachary is survived by his mom and dad, Deb and Jerry Cole of Moorhead; a brother, Andrew of Moorhead; grandparents, Rita and Glenn Olson, Devils Lake, ND; 14 uncles and aunts and a number of cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lewis and Fern Cole.
Visitation: Friday, 5 PM to 8 PM, Korsmo Funeral Chapel, Moorhead. Funeral: Saturday, January 7, 2012, at 2 PM in Christ the King Lutheran Church, 1900 14th Street South, Moorhead.
